Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the audition process like?

The East Providence Community Theatre audition process will vary from show to show. Generally, we will have actors read from a script we provide.

It is also always good to have a short monologe prepared.

For musicals, you will also be required to perform a song from a musical of your choice. (If you are looking to be in an ensemble or non-speaking role, this will be different) Dancing may also be required, depending on the show.

2. When can I audition?

All casting calls will be posted on our website, www.eptheatre.org, and usually in local newspapers such as The East Providence Post, The Providence Journal (and projo.com), The Phoenix, and Motif.

3. Can I help out?

Of course! The East Providence Community Theatre is always looking for determined individuals to help make our productions top notch. We always need people with experience in construction and costume design.
